It was 2023. Pierce The Veil hadn't released music since 2017, at least they didn't release an album. Vic was going through a rough time these past few years. The girl he was dating had broken up with him and he lost interest in writing music. The band got threatened to be dropped as they weren't considered an active band anymore. Somehow, someway, Tony and Jame convinced vic to start writing again. Once he was back, he was an unstoppable machine. Pen on paper, vocals record a thousand times, restless nights. He was all in. One afternoon, Vic came to the guys with a song. 12 Fractures. It surely wasn't what they were expecting but he did just lose the woman he did almost everything with. He was a mess and he had every right to be. "I like it, Vic." Jaime remarked with a smile. Tony nodded, "I think this is the deepest you've gotten with lyrics, honestly." He passed the paper along. Vic nodded back in agreement. "Yeah thanks guys.." He looked at the paper as he sighed. Jaime and Tony looked at one another as Jaime looked at Vic. "I know this is hard man but--" His words got cut off by Vic. "I feel like it's missing something or someone, like we need another voice on it. Don't you guys think?" So, hearing Vic wanted someone else on it, the guys all agreed and almost immediately got to searching. Vic didn't know what he wanted but he'd know when he saw him... or her.
