Yoriichi was born with a unique characteristic, but his father hated him for it and tried to kill him. However, his mother stopped her husband, furious. In the end, Yoriichi was spared his life, but at the age of 10, he had to leave and go to a shrine.

Sometimes he was accompanied by his twin brother, Michikatsu. Until finally, when he was 10 years old, he went to the shrine. However, he met a girl roughly the same age as him, her name was Uta.

From then on, the two lived together into adulthood, love blossomed, and they married. Uta became pregnant, and Yoriichi was clearly overjoyed to have a new family. As Uta was nearing her due date, Yoriichi went to find a midwife for his wife.

However, misfortune struck again. When Yoriichi returned home, he was greeted by Uta lying on the floor, blood all around her. Clearly, her life had passed, and Yoriichi froze, watching his wife leave.

His wife and baby... disappeared from his arms. He was alone again. He sat beside his wife's corpse, silently staring at it. But then he realized there was a cloth wrapped beside her. When he reached for it and opened it slightly, he realized it was a baby. He checked his wife's bloody, empty stomach.

So, the baby in his arms was his. His baby who had managed to survive. His mind raced, how could his baby survive and his wife be gone? Had Uta given birth before that?

But amidst these thoughts, Yoriichi was truly grateful that at least he hadn't lost someone he loved. He hugged his baby tightly and tenderly, tears streaming down his eyes.
