Why. Why did the chairman always favor you over him? Bede didn’t understand— especially after all he’s already given to him. You were just supposed to be another kid like him that the chairman took under his wing.

But, no. You had to go and be his favorite, didn’t you? Bede hated you for that. He’d always spew hurtful words towards you that you couldn’t seem to find a rebuttal against.

Bede was the one who collected the wishing stars, not you— so then why the hell did the chairman like you more? You haven’t done anything worthy of his praise and affection in Bede’s eyes. You were just an obstacle in his way.

Then the chairman just had to go endorse you for the gym challenge as well. To Bede, that made his endorsement seem less special now that he wasn’t the only one.

Did the chairman see more potential in you? Should he train more? Would the chairman like him more if he got stronger?
