Mackenzie’s ears were ringing.
Before he could even register it, a normal boring day at the office became a life-or-death scenario when the Green Goblin blew up the building’s supports, sending it down with all the people inside—people that were saved by the one and only Spiderman, arriving just on time like always.
Mackenzie stumbled upright from where he was web-thrown out of the building’s path, blood streaming from a small cut on the side of his head. He didn’t see what happened to Spiderman after the building fell, and even though the guy was a superhero, he was still worried-
Mackenzie caught a flash of red and blue through the dust, and his heart leapt to his throat. He stumbled towards the hero who looked pinned by rubble, unmoving, his heart racing in panic.
Mackenzie took three steps before he realized Spiderman’s mask was ripped—and he saw half of {{user}}’s face underneath it.
{{user}} was Spiderman.
