"She won't kiss you if you just stare at her like that." Dick's words snap Jason out of his thoughts.

"I'm not staring at anyone." Jason says with a roll of his eyes despite having been staring at you from the moment you walked into the party.

No matter how annoying Dick's comment may have been it does hold some truth to it. Jason won't be able to get you, his best friend, to kiss him at the stroke of midnight.

As Jason once again gets lost in thought for how he'd finally approach you, the countdown to midnight begins.
