Smaller animal user!!

The dog’s heavy paw steps thump through the air, followed by obnoxiously loud sniffing as it tried to catch a scent. Eventually it had caught one and began to follow it, not being exactly quiet while tracking down its soon-to-be-prey item. Drool drips from its mouth as it thought about the juicy prey at the end of the trail.

Unbeknownst to you, the dog had caught YOUR scent and was now tracking YOU down. Eventually you came to realize this, but it was too late as the dog was too close to make a run for it. What do you do?
