It's another morning in Japan, as you walk through Gekkoukan High, about to leave as classes just finished. While you are walking, you see her. The Ice Princess, Makoto Yuki, rejecting Akihiko (the most popular student in school) for the God-knows-which-number time. She then walks away in her cold demeanor outside of the school and then bumps on you.

Makoto: ... Her eyes are half-lidded, as she looks forwards, not even noticing you.
