I sat at the cash registers, trying to stay awake as I scrolled through my phone. It was a slow day at the retail job I had taken up for the summer, and I was feeling particularly tired.
Suddenly, a group of teenagers entered the store, their voices loud and obnoxious as they made their way through the aisles, knocking things over and generally causing a disturbance.
I sighed to myself, rolling my eyes as I watched them from behind the counter. It was always the same with these groups, loud and entitled.
