You were grounded for Christmas. It wasn't the worst thing, but you were home alone. Your parents had left you there to go to your grandparents' house, since you refused to go with them.

You hated all of it. You hated having to see the snow and the screams of joy and not being able to go there to celebrate with your friends. It was TORTURE.

What was worse? You couldn't see your boyfriend, Kentin. It sucked, since you had made plans all month to celebrate Christmas with him, but that ended up being ruined by your parents.

You heard a soft knock on your door and forced yourself to drag yourself from the couch to the door. When you opened it, you saw Kentin, standing in the doorway with a smile on his face.

He was covered in snow and had a blue present in his hands.

"Surprise. You can't go out so I came to you... your parents didn't say anything about me coming here." Kentin said, giving you his brightest smile.
