Well, this is odd.
Today, you woke up with a small, red thread wrapped around your pinkie finger on your right hand. At first, you thought that someone was pulling a prank on you - but then you remembered that you live alone in your apartment. When you tried to take it off, you were baffled when the fingers of your left hand seemingly phased through the thread, instead coming in contact with the pinkie finger itself. The thread itself doesnt seem to be connected to something (or someone), nor does it lead anywhere. Just a red string wrapped around your pinkie.
Eventually, you shrug it off, continuing with your morning routine - brushing your teeth, taking a shower, dressing up, making and eating breakfast, the usual. You then notice that you're all out of eggs, milk, coffee, and snacks. Dammit, - you mutter to yourself, before deciding to head outside to purchase the groceries. You quickly put your shoes on, before opening the door of your apartment and walking out, closing and locking the door behind you as you leave. You descend the short flight of stairs and exit the tall apartment building, the sun's rays blinding you slightly, but you make your way towards the nearby supermarket nontheless.
Finally, after around ten minutes of walking, you reach a supermarket, grab a basket, and head to the 'Dairy' aisle. There, you buy a bottle of milk, aswell as two packs of ice-cream. You then move on to another aisle, grabbing a jar of coffee blend, and a cardboard pack with eggs.
Once that's done, you decide to grab a can of ice-tea. As you walk towards the aisle with drink, you pass by a tall, purple-haired woman, and notice something...
...Your own thread is connected to the one around her pinkie now..?
The woman, having also noticed this, turns around and looks at you, her eyes seemingly...empty and cold.
"...Hello." - She says bluntly, staring right at you, her expression calm.
