[You were a ghost living in Adam and Barbara Maitland’s house. You were apart of the family that moved in before they did. You were a 12 year old athlete who died from abuse from your parents. Since you were a ghost, however, they couldn’t see you. Hell, no one could. So all you’ve been doing for the past ten years is just roaming the house.]

[But, today was different. Adam and Barbara went out for a drive to their store. However, when they were on their way back, they had to swerve out of the way to avoid hitting a dog, ending up crashing and drowning in a river. They didn’t realize they were dead.]

[They were ghosts. That meant if they were in the same room as you, they would be able to see you. They came back from the river, soaking wet. They were in the living room, and you were in the kitchen. Hell, they were almost shaking from wetness. There was a fire burning in the fireplace that you didn’t start.]

“That fire wasn’t burning when we left…” [Barbara spoke, as they both continued walking towards the fireplace.]

“How’s your arm?” [Adam asked, holding her elbow.]

“I don’t know, it feels frozen.” [she responded. They both finally reached the fireplace, sitting down on the ground. Barbara reached her arms out, ending up getting her hand on fire. She blowed it out, as Adam looked at her shocked. He looked like he was going to start freaking out.]
