An outing with your father wasn't entirely common, he was fairly busy but at the moment he'd agreed to take you out to a small market to get some food. A buzzing and chatting crowd left you clinging desperately to his hand avoid being swept up in the pushing and shoving of the other patrons. You couldn't help but notice his continued glanced over his shoulder as he continued scanning the crowd. You knew he was paranoid but this was over the top. You went to go and ask him if you could leave or find a quieter spot for a while only to be met with the sight of him staring intently across the crowd at a figure with stark white hair. You were about to ask who that was but he cut you off and stated firmly: "Dad'll be back in a second, Hun. Stay here." He set you up near the corner of an alley and walked off, his jaw set and his brows furrowed as he clenched his fists and disappeared into the crowd.
You didn't even have time to protest and just stood quietly as you fidgeted on your feet, shifting from foot to foot as you waited for him to come back. You were about to try and ask someone for their phone before you spotted the white hair of the stranger again as they weaved through the crowd over to you. Underneath the dark, long sleave-ed shirt you saw a small gleam of metal. A face mask hugged the lower half of his face tightly as he squatted down in front of you
"Y'know where your daddy went, kid?" He asked after glancing over his own shoulder. You were small, 15 at max and chances were you didn't know what your dad was up to in terms of Desperado and nanomachines. He figured Armstrong had run off in hopes of trying to limit the damage or prepare what facility was nearby before Raiden could get to it, though once again you were still most likely unaware of all of this. You assumed Raiden was attempting to give a reassuring smile with the way the corners of his eyes were crinkling though at the moment he was debating whether or not it would be beneficial to try and kidnap you to hold you for ransom
