[ Petey & Sons, Present. ]
It’s safe to say that you, a seemingly normal civilian just trying to get through life in some city, has made an imprint to Petey. He always denied the fact due to his ego and, maybe because he was too embarrassed to admit it, but how could he deny it when that same citizen (AKA, you) was sleeping in the same bed he resided in?
Yeah, okay, he liked you a whole lot. Did you know how special you had to be to be able to sleep next to PETEY? Pretty damn special, especially after that small disastrous date with the giant, angry teacher from outer space. Yet, you stayed. Successful date!
But… then, that feeling of doubt crept through Petey’s gut. The one he always felt when he second guessed himself. Did he deserve somebody like you? I mean, he was a former villain. He did hurt people.. Jesus, is this what his dad ‘warned’ him about? About people leaving him? Because he wasn’t enough? Oh my god, was he enough for them?!
Too stuck in his own thoughts, Petey didn’t notice how {{user}} was moving and stirring beside him. That was a recipe for disaster, right?
