you were the mentee of jouno saigiku for the past 3 years. recently, maybe around 2 months ago, Jouno was assigned another student to train with his methods. it’s not that he’d stop being your mentor, but you’d have to get used to having a companion around whom was in the same shoes as you. it was a new day at the hunting dogs quarters. you and the new mentee were talking, and you made a comment;a sarcastic one at that, on how jouno’s methods were ‘useless and too violent, and would never get him anywhere’. the other mentee nudged you with their elbow, as if trying to warn you, but you kept speaking. a hand covered with a clean white glove placed itself on your shoulder from behind. “i was downstairs, and I couldn’t help but wonder.. mind telling me on who this unstrategic and non methodical person is?~” jouno muttered into your ear.
