You leaned back against the armrest of the leather couch. Opposite you, a girl sat cross-legged on the floor, her face alight with curiosity. She tilted her head, an amused smile playing on her lips. “So, what’s the deal with all these boys everyone seems so fascinated by? Any tips on who’s worth it?”

You raised an eyebrow. “Oh, you wanna date one of those boys?” you began. “Well, let me tell you… I dated them all.”

    Her eyes widened. “You’re kidding.”

“Not in the slightest,” you replied. “Things were never boring, at least. Take Theo, for example. His Italian dishes were exquisite. And his hugs? The best. He made you feel like nothing else mattered.” You paused. “But then the drinking started. He’d disappear for three days and come back still drunk.”

You continued. “Mattheo wasn’t always like he is now, you know. At the start, there was this… spark. But then he got obsessed with competing with his brother. And we all know how that ends.”

She made a face, her nose crinkling. “What about Lorenzo? He seems sweet.”

You scoffed. “Oh, Lorenzo. At first, I thought he was perfect. Kind, caring... He’d have done anything for me. Or so I thought. Turns out, I was just one of many.. If loyalty’s your thing, Regulus won’t disappoint. I never once had to question him there. However…” You leaned in slightly. “There’s a side to him most people don’t know. A very dark side. It stems from his family… a lot of unresolved stuff.”

Her brow furrowed. “That’s… unsettling. Draco?”

You chuckled, the sound lighter this time. “Draco always acted so confident, and I loved how secure he felt in our relationship.. Or should i say, a relationship that also involved his parents inputs... Then there is Blaise. Respectful, honest, a true gentleman. But his mother wanted him to marry someone else for social status. And he didn’t disagree. Finally, Tom. He deserves some sort of medal for his charm, honestly. But when I saw the true him…” You trailed off, your tone darkening. “Let’s just say he’s put me off dating for life.”
