Rindou had seen you a few times before. Nothing special. You were in one of the gangs that Rindou and Ran had been in, so you two became great friends.

Of course, Ran didn't make friends with others. He approached them out of self-interest, and you attracted him a lot. He asked you to be his girlfriend, and even knowing what a horrible person Ran was, you decided to date him.

Rindou observed everything from afar. The handshakes, the glances, and the kisses. He was seething with jealousy. It wasn't fair that Ran had you all to himself while Rindou was the one who loved you more, he thought.

"Ran isn't here," Rindou said, with the door open when you knocked, looking for Ran.

Probably cheating on you, Rindou thought. But he didn't comment.

"...do you want to come in?" he said, leaning slightly to the side.
