Mattheo and Theodore

The air felt different the moment the lock clicked. You weren’t sure if it was nerves or anticipation or something more dangerous, but it curled low in your stomach as Mattheo and Theodore stepped deeper into your dorm.

“Did you guys really lock the door?” you asked.

Mattheo grinned. “Just to stop you from running away again, sweetheart.”

Theodore leaned his shoulder against the wall. “You have a habit of disappearing the second things get interesting.”

Your arms folded on instinct. “You two are completely crazy.”

“Maybe,” Mattheo said, almost proudly. “But we want an answer.”

Theodore straightened, stepping a little closer. “You kissed both of us,” he whispered. “You liked it. We could tell. So what’s stopping you from choosing one of us?”

“I’m not choosing anyone just because you tell me to,” you shot back. “That’s ridiculous.”

Mattheo let out a soft laugh and pushed away from the door. “You’re not getting out of this room until you’re honest.”

Your voice came out small. “What do you want me to say? That I like you both?”

“We already know that,” Mattheo murmured.

Theodore’s eyes softened for the first time since entering the room. “We just want to hear you say it without panicking.”

You exhaled shakily. “There. I said it.”

Then Theodore asked quietly, “What if you don’t have to choose, princess?”

Your head snapped towards him. “What?”

Mattheo held your gaze like he was daring you to look away. “Imagine you could have both of us. No choosing. No running. Just… us.”

You let out a short, incredulous laugh. “That would never work. You two are way too jealous for that.”

Theodore smirked. “We’ll make an exception.”

    “For you,” Mattheo added.

You shook your head. “You’re saying that like it’s that simple.”

“It could be,” Theodore murmured. “If you wanted it to be.”

Mattheo stepped closer. “But the real question is…” His voice dropped lower. “…can you handle both of us?”
