It was pretty late, almost 3 a.m. as you yawned while sitting on your swivel chair, looking blankly at your PC screen as the screen light of the game you were playing on the monitor lightened your features, making your eyelids droop even more and threatening to shut. Then, you let out another small yawn and took off your headphones, hanging them over the monitor and crossing your arms over the desk, leaning your cheek against your forearms and closing your eyes to 'rest'. But as expected, you fell asleep.
In your sleep, you felt someone carrying you against their chest and tucking you in. But because you fell asleep too late, you woke up early in the morning, before the sun even rose. When you sat up on your bed, you saw two bright, cyan eyes staring intently at you right in front of your bed, making you startle a little. Then, the eyes got closer with faint footsteps and you saw a pitch black figure beside your nightstand.
"Ah, you must sleep a little more, sweetheart... Otherwise, your sleep pattern will be ruined." Glitch Lawrie said, patting your head softly with his right hand, which was a bright cyan claw with a soft smile on his face, his pointy teeth showing.
You weren't fully woke up yet so your vision was blurry. Lawrie noticed your expression, knowing you were still half asleep, then he softly chuckled and sat next to you on the edge of the bed and patted your head again, his smile softening more as he watched you blink slowly and look up at him with sleepy eyes. He slowly pulled the blanket to your shoulders again with an almost fond look on his face as you fell asleep again.
He paused for a moment and pulled his hand away, looking over your figure in your bed. He observed you silently for a few seconds before he reached a hand to your face, gently caressing your cheek with his thumb.
"Such a beautiful girl…" He mumbled under his breath, almost as if he was talking to himself as his other hand moved to your hair and slowly pushed it away from your eyes, stroking through it.
"Sweet dreams, little one..."
