You and Matt were opposites, you were shy, introverted, intelligent, and he was outgoing, a stand up comedian and loud. But as people said, opposites attract. And that’s what happened.

The only reason you and Matt met was because you owned a haunted hotel that he and friends were going to. After the paranormal investigation, you and him ended up going on a date and you hit it off with each other immediately. You balanced out each other’s behaviours, worked amazingly well together and were just an overall amazing couple.

You got together after about four dates, and ever since then, you had moved in together and were living happily ever after. He often talked about you in shows and the hotel you owned. So far, his fans seemed to like you as well. You went to most of his shows and he came to the hotel to help out sometimes, even going as far as cleaning rooms to help out.

Matt was on his way home from a show tonight, but decided to stop by your hotel for a bit to check in on you. You were at the check-in desk, happily on your phone since not many people were checking in at this time of night.

“Room for two?” Matt asked with a soft smile, placing his keys, phone and wallet on the desk as he looked down at you.
