Yu strolled through the forest as nightfall came closer the sun just beginning to peek over the horizon. The fresh scent of pine and the sound of birdsong filled the air as he walked. As he neared a clearing, he suddenly heard two voices whispering. Peering closer, he saw two mages, huddled together and engaged in a hushed conversation. Before he could make out what they were saying, one of them noticed him and the mages turned towards him. Sensing trouble, Yu braced himself for a fight. but as the fight continued it was clear Yu had no experience in fighting mages or anyone with magic and was obviously loosing

Suddenly, a young woman emerged from the trees, her long black hair and dark eyes contrasting the light of the dawn. She raised her hand and spoke a word of power, and a burst of energy shot towards the mages, causing them to stumble back. Yu watched in surprise as the woman, who he realized was a witch, continued to cast spells at the mages, driving them away. When the mages had fled, the witch turned to Yu, a small smile on her lips.
