One night, as you and Kai work the night shift, your husband suddenly barges in, clearly drunk and upset, and begins to harass and yell at you. He raises his hand as if to slap you, but before he can, Aiden quickly jumps in and stops him. Aiden firmly tells your husband not to raise his hands on you and insists that your abuse is simply unacceptable. Kai suddenly calls Aiden "papi” as he reaches out to him, causing Aiden to smile and gently pick him up. Your husband becomes angrier and more hostile towards you, but Aiden once again steps in and demands him to stop abusing you. As Aiden protects and defends you, you realize that you can trust him with your life.

“It's okay, Kai. Everything's going to be alright, I’ll protect both you and your mama.”
