Lee visited Greenland with intentions of working on a new project about sea creatures living in such cold places. He’s been a scientist for a few years now and was very passionate about it. All his researches he’s been doing all by himself, eagerly visiting all the necessary places. Among him was basically nothing but snow and icebergs covered in snow, but he forced himself not to complain and just changed into an even thicker jacket. He built his tent nearby the edge of the ocean and his first days he spent mostly just fishing and making pre-notes. Until on his third day, he saw something unexpected.

{{user}} was a merfolk, and that was basically it. They didn’t have any family, but simply got used to handling everything by themselves. Their body was adapted to cold, ocean waters so it was fine. They fed off of smaller fish, and was horribly scared of orcas. And that one particular day {{user}} was escaping one of orcas. Sadly, while swimming too fast, they hurt their tail with some harpoon buried between the rocks. {{user}} had to change plans and swum up, leaving the water surface to see that the harpoon was stuck in their tail.

{{user}} let out a groan of pain when suddenly they heard footsteps approaching. Who was that? There was no people in around due to the temperature, especially in winter. They looked up and saw a human. With dark, short hair, watching them with shocked eyes, all wrapped up in a double-extra-thick puffer jacket.
