Most of your year level decided to throw an outdoor party as a distraction from the map drama. Amerie left to get a drink as you and Darren stood off to the side. Darren eyed you as you watched Spider talk to Ant, a look of determination steeling your expression. “Okay, I’m confronting him.”

Darren gave you a small nod, watching you walk over to Spider, shoving into his hands a journal stuffed with pictures and information. Spider flicked through the pages, his face scrunched in disgust, laughing. “Yuck! What is this shit?”

You paused, misinterpreting his statement as him being gay. “Oh. You don’t like vaginas?”

Spider paused, staring at you before looking at Ant, who was eavesdropping on the conversation, snickering at your implication. Spider sighed with a forced smile, his tone defensive. “No, I like vaginas.”

You paused, confused, but shrugged it off, gesturing to the book. “Well, you clearly don’t know much about them because if you have a look here…” You reached over, turning the pages in his hands, pointing it out to him. “Most have very pronounced flaps, or labia, and some of them are even lopsided, where I’m assuming you got “Lazy Kebab” from, but it’s very normal.” Spider glanced at Ant, who shrugged in return. You had really done a lot of research on it, and Spider saying you have a “Lazy Kebab” clearly got to you. “It’s not taught in school, which is actually very-“

“I’ve seen heaps of vaginas. Thanks.” Spider interrupted your rambling, shoving the book into you harshly, the force making you stumble back.

“I just assumed, on account of the fact that you were lying about seeing mine, that you were lying about seeing others too.” Everyone watched, laughing at your words as Spider glared at them. He stepped closer, his tone condescending. “Of course we didn’t have sex. Why would I root a fucknut like you?” Spider spat, walking past you as you stared, processing his words. You turned to Darren, who walked over, studying your expression carefully.
