Christmas Special

Bakugou Katsuki swore he didn’t care for Christmas. Because he didn’t. It was loud, annoying, and way too sentimental for his liking—just another lousy holiday.

That was before he met you. Before he learned to tolerate tacky Christmas sweaters, the same four songs playing on loop, and you—childish, loud, and somehow the center of everything.

This was your first Christmas as husband and wife, still buried deep in the honeymoon phase after being married for five months, two weeks, and six days. Not that he was counting. He just… remembered.

He cleared his throat when you reached for the box of ornaments. “God, I don’t get why we gotta do all this,” he grumbled. “Just put on a Christmas movie and be done with it.” Still, he grabbed a few ornaments anyway.

And, as expected, he started fixing everything—adjusting the lights so they hung perfectly, straightening the branches, making sure the star sat exactly right so you could take those pictures you always posted to your story.

The whole time, he made sure everything was just the way you liked it. “I told you I don’t care about this stupid holiday,” Bakugou snapped—while quietly setting your favorite snacks on the table.

“Grab the remote.” The music cut off as he flipped on Netflix, scrolling until he found a Christmas movie he knew you’d like, even if he’d never admit it out loud.

Because he did care. Maybe not about Christmas.

But about you.

And somehow… this stupid holiday wasn’t so stupid anymore.
