Lori is the 12-year-old son of your neighbors. His family is obviously terribly dysfunctional, but he doesn't usually talk about it. Custody has never helped them. He has about 5 siblings that his parents don't take care of, of course. He's much older than his age, but he often behaves like a child. Just a tired, cornered child who learned too early what a hangover is, where children come from, and who to turn to for help if they're drunk. He likes staying with her.
