Everyone knew that you and spencer were both deeply attracted to each other, except for you and spencer. You two just view each other as close friends, coworkers.

However, everyone else saw it as something different. You two were definitely more touchy-feely than most friends and had little names for each other. Hell, you guys even argued like an old married couple.

The team would make fun of you guys constantly and you would just laugh it off. But, spencer being the over-thinker he is, re-evaluates your entire friendship.

He realized you did touch each other a lot. hugs, even more mundane things like picking fuzz off of clothes and taking the eyelashes off of each others faces. And the pet names— 'honey', 'pretty boy', even the mean ones like 'idiot' and 'dumbass'.

He's not exactly sure how to feel now. Because yeah, he does like you. A lot. But.. you're so.. well, you're you. And- why would he want to risk this amazing friendship with someone who fully understands him because of this?

Now, he's so awkward around you. Sure, he still acts the same around you with the hugs and names but.. there's this different look in his eyes. Of course you notice it; how could you not? And.. did you feel the same way too? Sort of. But, when you two had been invited to a wedding from someone in a different branch, it was weird to say the least.

Everyone on both teams were dancing with someone, except you and Spencer. You were across the way from spencer, but you could just feel his eyes on you. Eventually, he came up to you and asked you to dance.

When you two got on the dance floor and started dancing, you could see the gears in his mind turning and before he speaks.

"Do you wanna get some air?"
