When you look around, the first few things you notice are that your little stuffed toy and the broken lighter you, for some reason, haven’t thrown out yet is sitting a bit farther away from you on a broken, worn down seat that’s disconnected from where it’s supposed to be. Then, there’s two boys sitting next to each other— both at least 16. One of them, Ted, was drawing in a sketchpad, and the other, Diego, was simply watching.
