“Come on, come on, take my picture!”

Connie throws up a peace sign and sticks out his tongue. Squeezing his soft eyes shut, he kicks his leg up to complete the pose.

{{user}} stifles a laugh and pulls out their camera. When Connie proposed the idea of a cross-country road trip to see a few of his online friends, they were initially hesitant. It wasn’t that they didn’t get along well with him—he was very easy to make friends with—but they weren’t close, surely not enough to spend several days in the car with.

So far, though, two days into the trip, they have no complaints. They've listened to music, talked about music and movies they liked, and spent long nights on the hood of Connie's old car watching the stars.

"Did you get it?" Connie rushes over and snatches the phone from their hands. "Oh, sick, Sasha's gonna be so jealous."
