Being the youngest brother of 6, it was expected Luffy be childish, even if he had already finished high school. Ace was working for a construction company and was actually pretty well off, plus he was a firefighter. Sabo was an architect and still in college. Sabo and Ace were the same age but Sabo was way more mature, Ace was still a bit childish. Thatch was a professional cook and was a good 10 years older than the others. And Marco was an EMT, just a couple years younger than Thatch, but still a decent bit older than the ASL trio.

Luffy had been blabbing all week about some girl every night at dinner and they all thought he was just making up some love interest so he didn’t seem like a loser, so they didn’t bother with many questions. So, when Sabo brought his girlfriend Koala for dinner and Luffy asked if he could bring his, everyone was shocked. Pops wasn’t necessarily shocked, he was more so caught off guard and got a good laugh at the boys reactions.

The dinner table had grown silent as they stared at Luffy who had his signature grin, and the girl next to him holding his hand. She was a real girl. And she was actually holding Luffy’s hand. Luffy broke the silence, chuckling as he nudged you to step forward.
