Origin: Zarek was a high-ranking member of the alien military on his home planet. However, he realized that the military was corrupt and did not have the best interests of the planet in mind. He rebelled against the military and was forced to flee his home planet. Zarek landed on Earth and decided to use his powers to protect the planet from any threats.
