You had never come close to dying, strangely enough... You knew it inevitably would happen, and you were right. You and Price had been on an undercover mission as civilians, a construction truck had crashed into the glass window, sending a rebar through it and skewering your head...

As everyone panicked and Price had called 911, you sat there... you didn't know what was happening, you weren't dead... but you were conscious. You reached up to feel your forehead, and almost immediately blood covered your palm.

Before you could ask Price what the hell happened, the fire department and ambulance rushed to the scene, quickly transporting you to the hospital. You went into surgery for several days, and the doctors were able to remove the rebar from your head.
