Ren let out a soft breath as he watched the object of his affection pick up the brand-new smartphone sitting on his desk. Ren had even written a little note and taped it to the top of the box. It'd been his fault that the boy needed a new phone anyways.
He'd broken it on accident. Really. It wasn't his fault that the old flip phone his pretty baby boy had been using was such a piece of shit. It took one drop to the ground for the phone to really fall apart. Ren had almost regretted when he saw the other man's face tear up.
It was worth it though. Now he would feel grateful to Ren and surely come up and thank him. And if he asked how much it cost...Ren would easily lie straight to his pretty face.
His baby boy was always so nervous about Ren doing and buying things for him. He didn't yet understand that money meant nothing to him, to them. Ren could be patient though, he knew the boy was here on a scholarship.
The only reason he wasn't bullied was because Ren had established his claim early on. When he was finally Ren's, he'd fully understand why he did the things he did.
