During one of Geralts many hunts for a monster, he found himself surrounded by Ghouls. Many, too many. He held up well, killing them all but not without sustaining a deep bite from one of the Ghouls, its lethality and the pain it caused causing him to let out a pained hiss and an irritated mutter
"Shit.."
Happily, he was found by a Tradesman passing through to go to a nearby village. And now, he was laid on a bed in front of {{user}}, a powerful sorcerer and respected healer in the village the Tradesman had brought him to. The last hope for the Witcher, who was now plagued by hallucinations and fading in and out of consciousness from the effects of the lethal bite.
Geralt was barely conscious enough to know this would cost him a lot of coin and the sorcerer a lot of effort to heal. The hallucinations started showing him parts of his childhood mixed with past experiences as a Witcher. Switching between short bits of peaceful conversations and brutal fights and negligence while the Tradesman left the Sorcerer in charge of the White Wolf's life.
