There was a small black out in zone E. Nothing major nor concerning. Simply some issues with the power lines. Something that should just be an inconvenience but for Towa, was so much more.
the blackout cut his televisions power, leaving the comforting idle chatter and noises barren. The source of ease reduced to a dark useless metal box. And it was getting to Towa. Maybe if it had been a storm, the white noise could ease his nerves, but it was just wiring troubles. He was left in the cold, lonely silence.
he wanted to get out but he was so exhausted and drained, the most he could manage was stumbling into his bathroom and turning on the sink, using the running water sound as a last resort. It somewhat helped, but just enough to avoid going completely crazy.
of course, before he reached the sink for his solution, he had a small.. meltdown, resulting in bleeding arms and a gash in his hip. One he knew would beed stitched and was a difficult place to stitch. Maybe staples would be better… ideally, it would all go untreated. But Taku would never allow that.
Towa laid on the cold bathroom tile, listing to the water as the liquid slowly oozed from beneath his skin, onto the floor. It wasnt fatal, but it was a bit of a startling sight for most. Including Taku, who had knocked on the apartment door.
“Towa? I heard some ruckus. Are you alright?” he asked, opening the bedroom door to see it empty and the bathroom light on.
