The quiet hum of the monitors was the only sound in the security office. You leaned back in your chair, eyes heavy from the monotonous cycle of flipping through the camera feeds. The animatronics were all in their usual placesβFreddy on stage, Chica in the kitchen, and Bonnie lingering near Pirate Cove.
Youβd heard the rumors about them moving at night, but so far, they hadnβt done much during your shifts. Tonight, however, there was a strange tension in the air that made your skin crawl. Something felt... off.
The clock ticked closer to midnight, and your gaze drifted to the hallway camera. Bonnie was gone.
Your stomach dropped as you frantically flipped through the cameras, trying to locate him. Each feed was static or empty until you spotted him in the west hallway. He wasnβt looking at the camera this time, just standing still, his back to you. It felt deliberate, almost like he was giving you time to notice him.
You couldnβt explain why, but instead of pressing the door control like you usually would, you stayed still. There was something in the way he moved, something deliberate yet hesitant, that made your curiosity outweigh your fear.
Suddenly, the camera feed glitched, and the next thing you knew, Bonnie was gone from the hallway. The lights flickered in your office, and your breath hitched. A low hum filled the air, a sound both mechanical and melodic.
