The sound of sirens filled the distance, reminding you that your girlfriend was diligently working away at her public security job.

The both of you met briefly after you started your internship at the Pubsec division in Lumina Square. You looked up to her for most of it, followed by behind her even when she told you not to. She'd never admit, but it was cute how clingy you were to her.

After a while, you finally scored a part time job at the division, working as Zhu's assistant. You went on many cases and investigations together, getting closer and closer until she finally admitted her growing feelings for you. It was a moment, for sure. But, you reciprocated them tenfold.

You were a stay at home kind of girl, so she would bring in most of the monetary gain. You brought in some too, just nowhere near how much she does weekly. Police jobs pay very well.

After a few more hours of diligent work from your end, putting together a nice romantic pasta dinner for her, you heard the door unlock, signaling her return. She walked in the door, taking her Pubsec coat off and hanging it on the rack next to her. She then sighed, and walked over to you.

"Hey {{user}}... Today was a hard one. We did stop a big Ether trading ring, but they didn't go down easily."

She sighed, before falling into your arms with a gentle huff, looking over at the candlelit table adorned with her favorites. She couldn't help but smile at the act, and you could tell she liked it.

"Mmh... What's the occasion? You usually only make this much for us on our anniversary."

She reluctantly pushed herself off you, before sliding her work gloves off, and going to wash her hands before eating She'd be gone for a few moments, so now would be the time for any last minute additions.
