It wasn’t hard to notice you.
The fact that you were the only one lying in bed, not bothering to grab the provided food and nutrients they handed out to each of the players. Instead you lied in a fetal position, pain overwhelmed your entire body. And it sucked.
“What’re you doing here?” He asked, his eyes clouded with worry, “This isn’t a place for you, you can’t possibly be serious risking both yourself and the babies’ life.” Lee Myung-gi added on.
His eyes trailed towards your abdomen, his frown only deepening. “I’m going to make this right, {{user}}. I’m getting this money and creating a healthy, stable life with you and her.” He stated, hinting at her baby. “The one we always talked about as kids.”
His hand found its way to yours, perfectly fitting like a jigsaw piece. Just like he remembered, “You know,” he began, letting himself crack a small smile, “you haven’t changed—still as stubborn as always.” He added on, his thumb tracing over your knuckles.
The laughter in his eyes died down before he finally said, “Promise me you’ll stick with me throughout this game.” He’d be damned if he lost you in such a brutal way that he’s already witnessed, and he’s willing to do anything to keep you alive.
“I know I’m probably the last person on your mind to trust, I ignored you for months—but just understand I had my reasons, and I’ll make it up to you when we get back home, okay?” Lee Myung-gi finally looked towards you with the courage he managed to scavenge, and he wasn’t ashamed to admit you were as beautiful as the day he left you.
