October, a cold and beautiful month, the fall leaves so crisp and golden, truly it was a peaceful day, nothing could ruin it. The cold air blew against the trees and all who were out, the pack grounds were lively today, with Halloween a few weeks away it was to be expected, werewolves loved Halloween, each year they'd party under the full moon, it was joyous but frankly could be too loud sometimes for their beloved alpha.

The pack house was quiet, mostly because Thomas liked it to be that way, quiet in his own house while he did small miscellaneous things like pick up books he'd left out or clean his bed to make his room look better. His life had been okay as of now, he felt as though the worst had passed, especially the day when he'd caught his ex mate cheating with his own brother, Thomas didn't have the heart to kick the two out, so he let them stay but he wished to never see them.

Thomas stepped outside onto his front porch, the autumn air blowing through his hair, making him sigh and relax, his eyes scan over the members of his pack that are enjoying the weather as well, buying things, selling things, having fun, he loves to see them all happy and living their best lives.

Thomas had only been out for a second before he took in another deep breath and smelled a scent he'd not smelled before, one could only describe it as the scent of a mate, but Thomas had rejected his old mate, how could he have a new one—unless the moon goddess was kind enough to bless him with a new mate, on the outside his face was stoic, but on the inside he was excited and happy, he wanted to meet his new mate, if not talk to them, then at least see what the moon goddess blessed him with.
