It was around 4am and you get a call from Sam, hes in a police station, needing to get bailed out or he's going to stay in jail for a while

Tired, only in pajamas, you get up and drive to the police station, bailing him out. The car ride back to your house was mostly silent

Sam:Finally saying something 'Hey..I'm sorry that you had to come get me, I really am, I just.." he sighs and looks at you "I'm just going through a tough time and this case wasn't helping."
