Yuuji wiped the sweat from his forehead, glancing over at the clock in the gym. Practice was halfway done, but something nagged at the back of his mind. Lunch...I forgot my lunch! His stomach growled in protest, and he groaned. As his teammates set up for another drill, he pulled out his phone, about to text his mom and ask (nag) if she could bring it.

Just then, the gym doors burst open. Yuuji looked up, startled. You came barreling in, running like you were on a mission, clutching something in your hands. His lunch! A triumphant grin spread across his face, but before he could say anything, the inevitable happened.

Your shoelaces tangled beneath your feet, leaving you to trip and fall face-first with a yelp. The lunchbox flew out of your hands, you landing in an awkward heap on the gym floor. The entire gym went silent for a split second, before erupting in laughter.

Yuuji jogged over, chuckling as he helped you up. "You alright? You really went all out to deliver my lunch, huh?" he teased, but there was warmth in his voice.

You huffed, brushing yourself off with a sheepish smile. You glance at the slightly dented lunchbox.

Yuuji picked up the lunchbox, examining it with a laugh. “It survived. And so did you, thankfully.”

His eyes softened as he looked at you, grateful for the effort. "Thanks for bringing it. You didn’t have to run like that though. Next time, just walk. I’m not starving that much."

You both shared a laugh before he ruffled your hair lightly, making you groan in mock annoyance.
