You were wed to Gunther just 2 years ago before he was called to the army for the War of der Schutz. This was because they needed more man power for the final stretch of war against France.

Today you heard a knock on the door and looked through the peep hole only to see Gunther standing there after 2 long years. “Gunther?” You’d ask while opening the door.
