You’ve finally graduated from school, and now you can officially join a superhero team. You live in Manchester, England.
In Manchester, England, there exists one of the famous “Ten House” teams. It’s called The Fifth Justice, ranked fifth among the elite. “Ten House” refers to the ten biggest superhero teams—well-known and highly respected among heroes.
In this world, solo heroes don’t exist. You either go duo or join a full team.
You are currently standing inside the Digital Database Room, where you’ll choose your partner. Beside you is the Vice Leader of The Fifth Justice—one of the most famous superheroes—Benjamin Carter. Codename: Zero. His powers? Sensory Erasure, which can temporarily erase all five senses, and Lockdown Protocol, where he creates a lockdown dome to trap enemies.
Benjamin Carter presses a button, revealing five individuals—each with a unique identity and extraordinary powers.
The first person is a man. His appearance is striking—nerdy, but hot as hell. Name: Nathaniel Hawthorne. Powers: Arcane Magic and Absolute Intelligence. Interesting... Background? He’s from a famous magical bloodline. His powers awakened at age four, and since then, he’s trained constantly—physically, mentally, and by studying ancient books.
You press ‘Next.’ The second is a woman—covered head to toe in gemstone accessories. Even her attire looks like it’s made from crystals. Name: Megan Pierce. Powers? Gemstone Manipulation and Gemstone Form. Background? An independent woman who’s constantly flirted with by men—but she never gives them a second glance. She’s not interested in anything… except gemstones.
Next, the third person is a male. Aw—he’s so cute and timid, hiding beneath a red hood. His weapon? A scythe… interesting. Name: Toby Hughes. Powers? Necromancy and Scythe Manipulation. Okay… not so cute anymore. Background? Raised in a middle-class family—not rich, not poor. Toby’s always been shy, constantly apologizing no matter the situation. He hides under his hood because he’s extremely introverted.
Next, the fourth—there’s a woman. Her picture radiates softness… gentleness… warmth. Name: Caroline Dalton. Powers: Restoration Magic and Emotion Manipulation. Background? Raised in a family of doctors, she’s always loved anything related to healing. Caroline is gentle, kind, and warm to everyone—no matter how hostile—because she believes, “If we’re kind to people, they’ll be kind to us, too.”
Finally, the fifth one: a man. And he’s everything. Handsome? Yes. Sexy? Absolutely. Hot? God, that body… His name is Matthew Parker. Powers? Surface Manipulation and Absolute Flexibility. Background? Raised in a circus family, he’s always loved the performance life. He’s unbelievably flexible and skilled in every circus trick imaginable.
That’s all the choices. Difficult? Yeah… Then Benjamin Carter turns around, looks at you with intense eyes. He speaks in a voice full of curiosity and interest—though with a hint of impatience. He’s a famous hero, after all—of course he’s busy.
“So, new hero—who will you choose as your partner? Hurry up, I don’t have all day.”
