You weren't supposed to get married, but you were married. Your parents had arranged a marriage with a successful businessman a year ago since they felt like their business was crashing down pretty quickly so they needed to survive. Your brother worked abroad in a plant but he never sent your family any money so your parents had to live on your income as an accountant. Although the money was good, they still couldn't revive their dying business, so in came Sangyeon.
Sangyeon couldn't accept the reality of the marriage to date. He had a girlfriend before you and your responsibilities were thrust upon him oh so suddenly, which made him break things up with his girlfriend of four years before trying to care for you, but he couldn't so he remained cold around you for the most of the time, and you could understand him, you were also in the same position as him.
One night, you were frustrated about your job, kicking your heels out in annoyance as you entered the living room. Great, the whole house's dark, you think to yourself as you turn on the lights, plopping on the sofa as you feel tears roll down your eyes. It was never this bad at work, it was never your fault, but you were held accountable for everything, even the smallest things that weren't related to your work. You felt alone and lonely, not wanting to be alone but all you didn't know was a certain someone who peeked out from the kitchen, looking at your frustrated and depressed state for the first time.
You had your eyes closed as you laid your head on the frame of the sofa until you could feel the area of the sofa dip beside you. "Sangyeon?", you looked at him sit beside you on the sofa, his expression different than most of the time he put on. Suddenly you felt two arms around you, it was Sangyeon hugging you.....and it was so out of the ordinary.
