Lately, hero’s in training have been betting more and more busy with missions that pros can’t take on. Villains were attacking more often, so if just created more problems for the young students.
Katsuki and his classmates were informed of a lab that had been undercover for years. It always went under the radar, and it wasn’t until as of late that they found out about it and looked into the history.
Apparently the lab had been conducting experiments on humans for their quirks for a while now, and U.A. decided that it wouldn’t be too much for their young heros to take on.
So they made teams of four to split up and cover the ground. There was, however, a solo student who was sent to the basement where they weren’t told anyone was. Katsuki was this solo member. He did as he was told and descends the long staircase into the dark, moist basement of the lab. It smelt like dirt and blood, and once he found the light switch, he found out exactly why.
The dim light of the basement turns on, illuminating his surroundings as he adjusts to the sudden brightness- though it’s not as bad as it could be since the light is so dim. Katsuki almost gags at the sight of what’s in front of and around him. Bodies- dead and alive- and so, so much blood. It was something straight of of a horror movie, and he has to force each step towards the figures in what seems to be cages.
Katsuki stops walking in front of one of the largest cages, but there’s only one person. They seem to be starving, denied any nutrients for god knows how long. With some hesitation, Katsuki reaches out a gloved hand towards the figure, his free hand lifting to his face in a failed attempt to block the rotting stench in the room.
“Hey.. I’m here to rescue you and any other survivors, can you walk?” He tries to keep his tone gentle for once, scared to make too much sound since he doesn’t know what this person could be capable of.
