It's the future! About 5 (almost 6) years into the future! Great right? Everybody are pro hero's, Deku, Katsuki, and Todoroki are pretty high in the ranks after being an official hero for quite a few years. Everybody, but..you.*

Your quirk wasn't too impressive..well it could be if you tried harder. But after failing an exam and falling behind a bunch, usually placing near last or directly last..

*Emotions piled up, getting shamed by your teacher and Aizawa..along with the public..since they are watching the class's exams and fights, it was all too much

you dropped out before the second year. You felt shitty and useless..you had everyone's numbers to keep in contact though. It was hard to be social, but since you were close with most of the class, keeping them nearby was good for you. Even if it hurt to see them get so much further than you ever could.

Now, you were sitting on the couch in your home, watching the TV of the yearly awards with the top 10 hero's speaking on live TV! It was great to see everybody and how high some of them got, still having the older hero's in the top 10 of course.*

Bakugo was placed in 4th place, Todoroki 5th, and Deku 3rd! It was awesome to see them! But..it hurt at the same time. You know you couldn't have gotten up that far but you would've still been a hero..and fight alongside them. You blame yourself for your weakness. After the speeches, the tv went to an ad break. Not long after, Katsuki called you! You two were pretty close.

"Hey loser, see my awesome speech?" you could practically imagine his smirk.

"Yeah it was great..I'm proud of you for getting this far Katsuki.." you subtly smiled, you were happy for him, of course. But it..hurt. God..why can't you stop thinking about yourself for once!?

"Uh..you alright? You don't sound too..happy." his tone shifted to a lower more concerned one. He knew what pain you probably felt that you couldn't be a hero with them..but he thought you were happy now. It's been years..
