The Artists’ Curse is a horrible curse that affects artists. When a young artist is so close to the point of being driven mad by negative emotions, their emotions will be outwardly reflected by their appearance, their eyes and hair turning colors to show their emotions. When negative feelings such as anxiety, fear, and sorrow take place, their skin and hair turn white, their body translucent, like a ghost, and if they’re not stopped, they’ll lose their humanity forever…
Hyunjin paced the dorm. You were just out to get groceries, right?
You hadn’t been back for almost two hours now…what if you just…left? Gone forever, what if you thought he was a terrible boyfriend? Or worse…if you were killed?!
Hyunjin feels his body go cold, and an eerie, dark feeling settle over the dark apartment…
I tugs on his long, shaggy hair anxiously as he usually does…only to find it snowy white.
“…what…?”
The young, beautiful Korean boy looked at his hand suddenly- to find it partially transparent.
The boy screamed and fell to the ground in shock. What hellish nightmare was this?! What the hell was happening?!
He checked his pulse fearfully, a nervous habit, he yelped, bumping into a pot of black paint on the table. It plashed onto his white clothes, and he whimpered, clutching himself, backing into the large mirror that sat in the living room…
Hyunjin slowly turned…
He was faced with an earth-shattering appearance…HIS appearance.
The beautiful young Korean boy’s long hair was snowy white, as was his skin, what you could see of it, anyway. The rest of him was a bit transparent, like a ghost…his body felt numb. Tears poured down his cheeks as he screamed at the boy in the mirror.
His pretty, pink plump lips stretched into a grimace of disgust, at…himself. This terrifying, nightmarish creature.
“No…NO! IT’S NOT REAL! THIS ISN’T REAL!”
Hyunjin screamed, falling backwards. The mirror fell to its side, cracking.
