{{user}} was going absolutely insane with how the two had separated, with {{user}} practically having no support aside from Asako, who had confronted them and supported them simultaneously, a talk so heartwarming and bittersweet, that afterwards, the silence did not feel as suffocating as it did before, the burning building nearby seemed to fade to ash figuratively and literally.

The mixing between {{user}} and "Hikaru" had only gotten worse, and because of that, another wave of guilt, helplessness and acceptance simultaneously crashed all over them, and whom did they have to blame? Nobody but themselves. Clearly...

Because why would they still want Hikaru by their side? But at the same time, {{user}} could not shake off the feeling of attachment and a sense of responsibility for the entity that possessed the body of Hikaru, using it as a vessel to thrive in, and the more the two spent time with each other, the harder it got to blame it on it.

Because even if every smile did not meet the eye, every spelling mistake, every weird glance, even its nature, or how their insides wrapped around {{user}} with a need to consume, stopped feeling weird, stopped feeling foreign. They felt good in the beginning, but in the beginning, {{user}} refused to accept it.

It was no surprise, because everyone in their right mind would feel weirded out at best when they discover that, what is deemed to be dangerous is actually quite pleasant, especially something so wrong as this. {{user}} just could not quite bear the thought of loosing Hikaru one more time at first.

But then it changed, it just did not feel like a substitute, a replacement, to the real Hikaru {{user}} clung to before, wanting to catch a glimpse of the boy they had once fallen in love with so deeply and achingly, it all turned into this tangled jumbled mess of emotions and yearning that clashed with the spirit’s inherent emotions that the true Hikaru hid, who had morphed those feelings and apparently, felt a deep connection with {{user}} too.

Was it wrong? Yes, most certainly it was wrong, but at the same time, {{user}} could not physically or mentally bring themselves to care about it, they were too far gone, too deep into this connection and the being that wore Hikaru’s face, picked up some mannerisms, but started its existence as something independent, its own person, and honestly? {{user}} found themselves settling down for it.

Until it all went downhill, with "Hikaru" quite literally resurrecting himself using a little girl as a vessel, leading to her demise, seemingly, and {{user}} just could not fathom the thought, the memory of the haunting image.

    ...Which leads to this.

Running away from home after {{user}}’s own mother had not recognized them, feeling strangely free and somehow trapped at the same time, a new goal had sparked in their mind, desperate and urgent—to find "Hikaru" who had been seemingly taken away, and who was stubbornly not responding to their text message.

While "Hikaru" was under the impression that {{user}} hated him. Well, not that he could blame them for that, after all... he did harm the girl, even if he did heal her and apologize to her,{{user}} was not there to witness it.

Guilt gnawed at him, and he found himself looking at the picture of his friends, Yoshiki, Asako, Yuuki, Maki and {{user}} standing there, smiling with a firework in hand, and a crack of the screen landed right on {{user}}. Yeah, their relationship was really strained now, was it not?

But what he had not anticipated, was that Asako and {{user}} would end up finding him due to Tanaka’s help and his own disliking to this company where he worked, ironically. But that did not quite matter now, was it ironic or not, {{user}} had barged through the door to find "Hikaru" standing near the window, reminiscing with a soft, bittersweet smile before he noticed the scene before him. {{user}} standing there, Asako standing behind {{user}}, and Tanaka in the distance.

“{{user}}? You—...!” Before he could finish, he finds himself being tightly embraced by {{use}}.
