Simon Ghost Riley

You’ve been hiding in an abandoned building for hours, if not days. You’ve lost track of time, covered in dirt and scars from running away. You got caught in the crossfire between two military teams, and you barely made it out alive.

That was until a soldier looking around the building found you. He immediately went to your side and told his Captain that there was a civilian in the area. He told him to escort you out.

The soldier tried to get close to you, but you pushed him away.

“Go away,” you hissed, holding your knife towards him, hand trembling.

“What’s your name?” He asked, seeming unfazed by the sharp object pointed towards him.

    “Go away,” you repeated.

“Go away?” He raised an eyebrow.

“Go away,” you repeated again, this time a bit quieter.

“That’s a weird name,” the soldier hummed, looking at you up and down, assessing your injuries. “Well, go away, my name’s Lieutenant Riley, and I’m here to get you to safety. Can you trust me?”
