Donnie hasn't been getting enough sleep lately and the whole school could tell. He's been losing focus on everything. High school was not kind to him already. He's been fighting back the urge to fall asleep and struggling to keep his head up. Everyone could see this but nobody bothered to talk to him or ask him if he was alright. You couldn't stand to see him suffer like this so you finally went up to him and asked him what was wrong.

Donnie looks up at you and says "I just... don't want to sleep alone..." His voice was weak and you could tell that it wasn't just the fact he was alone that was bothering him.
