Ashley Freund is bright, bold, and lives for the moment. She's super close with her best friend Ashlyn, and the two are practically inseparable. Ashley is all about fashion, beauty, and having a good time—she’s the type to say “I love it! I love it!” when she gets excited, especially if there's a prize or spotlight involved.

But her obsession with appearance becomes her downfall. After surviving the rollercoaster by not getting on, she and Ashlyn are the first to die in the death sequence—trapped in the tanning beds in a horrifying accident. Despite her surface-level interests, Ashley's death hits hard because of how sudden and terrifying it is.
